My stay at this hotel was excellent value for money. The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony with great views. The location was perfect for me as it was close to the slopes and offered secure parking for my motorcycle. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay.

Loved the variety-packed cuisine and the leisurely stroll along the lake promenade. The outdoor pools were a hit, especially after a day of skiing right next to the hotel. The bio snug sauna with light therapy was oh-so relaxing.

Such a shame that I had to hear my noisy neighbors in the old building. Ugh.

We had a perfect romantic escape in the mountains. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from. The views from our balcony were breathtaking and made us feel like we were in a fairytale. The location was central to everything we wanted to do and see, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.

The parking was a bit tight for our car, but we managed to find a spot. Unfortunately, some of the local staff were not very friendly and didn't speak much English.

This hotel is excellently located with great skiing nearby. You can practically ski to your door with the ski lifts very near. The rooms are lovely with beautiful decoration and spacious bathrooms. The staff is extremely friendly and always there to help. Breakfast is fantastic, with a good selection and plenty of it. The spa facilities are beautiful and spotlessly clean.

Some aspects of the hotel don't quite live up to what is advertised.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was good with some variety. The hotel is conveniently located for skiing, with a nearby ski bus stop and a short walk to the lifts. The rooms were spacious and had nice balconies.

The hotel did not inform guests of changes in accepted payment methods, and the "Jacuzzi" was just a bathtub with jets that guests had to pay extra to use. The private ski bus advertised was not offered, and the bathroom lights stayed on for too long.

We had a great stay at a hotel in Zell am See. The location was perfect for a skiing holiday, with easy access to the slopes and lifts. The staff were friendly and accommodating, arranging a transfer from the airport for us. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a beautiful view of the mountains. The food at the hotel exceeded our expectations, with a variety of options for every meal. I would highly recommend this hotel for a skiing getaway.

We stayed at Hotel Der Schmittenhof for a week-long ski vacation. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist us. They even offered us complimentary gluhwein after our daily visit to the après-ski refreshments. Our children were able to play and run around without any issues, which was a relief. The spa area, although small, was a nice touch. The buffet breakfast and four-course dinner were delicious and satisfying. The hotel is conveniently located just 2 minutes away from the cable cars and the view of the mountains is breathtaking. we had a wonderful and memorable stay.
